QUETTA: Four security personnel were martyred in a fresh incident of target killing here Wednesday. According to details four security personnel were deployed for security of rail track and were provided with motorcycles. They were targeted along Sariab road here today. They were identified as Asim, Saeed, Shabbir and Amjad. Terrorists made good their escaped from the scene.
It is added here that Sariab road is considered most sensitive area of metropolis where attacks on security forces have been conducting. During past two months 17 security men including Levies and police have been martyred.
The incident took place near Dukkani Baba area of Sariab road when security forces vehicle was on routine patrol in the area.
Police and FC personnel reached the scene and encircled the area and started investigation. Nine mm pistol was used in the target killing incident.
Inspector General Balochistan Moazzam Jah Ansari said that FC personnel were targeted during patrolling and four personnel were martyred. He told that according to preliminary investigation four terrorists attacked security forces vehicle and used both small and large weapons.
IG Police said had safe city project completed it would help great in investigation. It our endeavour to make this project active at the earliest.
