KARACHI: Seven-member Sindh caretaker cabinet took oath here Friday at the Governor House. Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair administered the oath.
Later, the caretaker cabinet led by caretaker chief minister Fazalur Rehman visited the Mazar e Quaid and laid floral wreath.
Talking on the occasion, Fazalur Rehman said that he has inducted non-political and respectable persons in his cabinet and it is balanced. The said our objective is to hold free, fair and transparent election is conducive and peaceful atmosphere.
To a question, he said that there were 40 departments in Sindh government, but they have inducted only seven ministers, adding small cabinet will be good enough. He however said we can induct one or two more minsters, if needed.
Earlier, the caretaker ministers who took oath include Khair Mohammad Junejo, Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Jameel Yusuf, Dr Junaid Shah, Col (rtd) Dost Mohammad Chandio, Dr Sadia Virk Rizvi and Simon John Daniel.
