KARACHI:At least 82 more dengue fever cases were recorded across Karachi city in a week, taking the reported cases’ toll to 1,203 in the city since 1st January 2018.
As per a weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, as many as 85 new dengue fever cases were detected throughout the Sindh province last week out of them 82 cases were from Karachi and three from other districts of the province.
District East, South, West and Central are the most affected districts in Karachi division.
This year, a total 1,273 dengue cases emerged across the province; out of them 1,203 from Karachi and 70 from rest of province.
Two deaths have also been reported from dengue fever in Karachi city this year so far.
