KARACHI:Sindh Health Department has confirmed a new case of COVID-19 (Corona Virus), taking the reported cases’ number to 15 in Sindh province.
Media Coordinator to the Health Minister Meeran Yousuf, while talking to PPI, informed a 52 year old male having history of arrival from Islamabad two-days back was tested positive on Friday. She informed that his contacts are being traced for screening purpose.
She informed that 54 more tests were conducted yesterday and all were found negative, and this makes total number of tests conducted 251 out of which 15 were positive and 236 were negative.
She further informed two COVID-19 patients have been discharged so far while 13 others are still under treatment and stable. In Pakistan a total 21 Coronavirus patients have been detected so far, out of them 15 cases were reported in Sindh, three in Gilgit Baltistan, two in Islamabad and one in Balochistan.
