KARACHI:An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday awarded 15 years of imprisonment to three accused in a case pertaining to a police encounter and possessing illegal weapons.
The court heard the bail plea filed by three accused, Syed Saleem, Raheem-u-Din and Atif Hussain and announced its reserved verdict.
The court awarded them 15 years of imprisonment each. According to the state prosecutor, the convicted accused were arrested during a police encounter. The cases pertaining to the police encounter and possessing illegal weapons were registered against the accused at Shahra-e-Faisal police station.
