Karachi:Bridge Consultant Foundation, UNICEF and Sindh AIDs Control program have conducted an Advocacy seminar amid diagnosis of huge numbers of cases of HIV in Ratodero.
CEO Bridge Consultant Foundation Dr. Sharf Ali Shah in his address said that approximate more than 38000 individuals have been tested out of which 1217 individuals are HIV positive, including a large number of children.
Other speakers asked the government to provide Service Packages to decrease such risks among key population.
Dr Shahana Urooj Kazmi, Dr. Rafique Khanani, Dr. Sikandar Memon, Manager Sindh AIDs Control Program, Farhana Memon, Acting Chief Executive (Sindh Health Care Commission), Dr. Samina Junejo Manager Indus Hospital (ACP), Dr. D.S Akram, Dr. Ashraf Memon, Dr. Khalid Shafi and Ayesha Minhas also spoke.
