BA admits adjournment motion for discussion

QUETTA: Balochistan assembly admitted an adjournment motion here Tuesday for discussion on March 30.Durig the year 2014-15 government decided to appoint teacher through NTS. Educated youth appreciated this decision and a wave of happiness existed among them.

This was stated by MPA Rehmat Saleh Baloch in his adjournment motion in the House here Tuesday.

Session was chaired by Speaker Ms Rahila Durrani who adjourned the House till March 30.

Rehmat Saleh Baloch Several educated unemployed youth were appointed on merit. He said candidates who secured first positions were not appointed at Union Council level despite assurances. Present government announced that candidates who have passed NTS should deposit their documents but government did not fulfill its promise and these candidates were protesting for their rights at camps. It said that it is matter or grave concern that those who passed this test have reached upper limit of their age including disabled and women. Since they were disappointed there is need government should issue orders for their appointment at Union Council level by adopting policy of top 5 or top 10.

He said when decision to give vacant posts of teachers to NTS was taken we were part of government. It was a good decision but after that process of injustice with candidates began. Showing approximant order of a candidate in the House he said he has been posted at two different places at a time and Bureaucracy was responsible for it which was playing joke with candidates. He said Rupees 0.2 million were received for issuing orders which is an excess.

Education Minister while assuring the House of resolving the issue said that orders of 180 candidates issued by court were being posted t their respective districts. In addition 15 thousand candidates have deposited applications. A committee was working on it.

When put to vote majority of members supported it. Speaker ruled that adjournment motion would be discussed in the House on March 30 and adjourned the House.
