KARACHI:Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has decided to stop Dow International Dental College and Dr Ishratul Ebad Institute of Oral Health Sciences from giving admission for the session 2018-19.
Dow university spokesman said its dental college and the Ishratul Ebad Institute were affiliated with the university and more than 400 students who completed their BDS are now waiting for their PMDC registration.
Vice Chancellor Dow University of Health Sciences Dr Saeed Qureshi said that the decision came after PMDC inspection team had come to examine colleges, and were not found in standard requirements.
He further said that the admissions in session fall 2018-19 are subject to the permission of PMDC.
