NAUDERO:Sugarcane growers of Larkana and Kambar-Shahdadkot districts yet again held a large protest demonstration in front of Naundero Sugar Mills here on Monday, demanding clearance of their outstanding dues of millions of rupees, pending for last three years.
The protestors included Ali Gul Abro, Allah Bux Kharos, Noorullah, Muhammad Ismail, Saifullah, Liaquat Khoso, Ali Gul and others. Talking to newsmen, they said that for past three years the sugar mill authorities have not paid them a single penny of their dues, while they are clearing dues of big landlords timely.
They said they are running from pillar to post but nobody is listening to their genuine grievances. They said they had also protested three days back and mill officials had assured the of early payment of dues but in vain.
They also demanded of higher government authorities to take notice of the issue and order concerned authorities to make our payment without further loss of time.
