Change inevitable as Sindh fed up with corruption mafia, GDA

Moro, Sindh: The general elections of 2018 would bring a sea change in Sindh as the masses of this province are fully fed up with the corruption mafia, said leaders of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), addressing a big rally here on Sunday.

They said their anti-PPP alliance will give a tough time to the ruling PPP in the next general elections and form a pro-people government in Sindh province.

According to details, the GDA mobilized a large number of masses and political workers here on Sunday to muster support of voters for the coming general polls.

Addressing the rally, the GDA leaders said that they will form a government in Sindh after the next general elections and help the people to get rid of corrupt politicians.

Senior political leaders including PML-F leader Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi, former Chief Minister Sindh Ghous Ali Shah, Arbab Rahim, Zulfiqar Mirza, Ayaz Latif Palijo, MPA Nusrat Saher Abbasi, federal minister for overseas Syed Saddar-u-Din Shah and others addressed the rally.

Syed Sadaruddin Shah said that people of Sindh now have apolitical alternate. He said as there was a monopoly of a political party in the province, the GDA was formed to give the oppressed people of the province an alternative political platform. He said that they will bring a change in Sindh thorough a democratic process. Talking about women, Shah urged people to educate girls because well-educated women would play a due role in future.

NPP leader Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi said that the GDA is fighting corruption mafia in Sindh and they are aimed at to form a truly democratic government in Sindh. He alleged that the PPP has ruined Sindh during last 10 years to its rule.

Jatoi said that they have always struggle for Pakistan, adding now the GDA would contest with PPP in every constituency of Sindh. He regretted that Sindh had gone back for 50 years in terms of development and now people have to come forward and fight the corrupt politicians so that their province is put on the path of progress.

He said the people of Sindh are looking towards judiciary, and not to government, for redressal of their miseries.

Ayaz Lateef Palijo said Sindh has ample natural resources, and it already gives 70 per cent of revenue share to the country but the people of Sindh are compelled to feed their children on charity cards. He alleged that all institutions in Sindh have been ruined by the ruling PPP.

He said the PPP was responsible for the present dismal condition of including its backwardness in education.

Criticizing the incumbent provincial government, he vowed that they will give a tough time to the PPP in the next general elections.

Former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza said the apex has issued arrest warrants of Rao Anwar, but Asif Zardari was calling him his brave boy. He said he had already revealed in a press conference that Rao Anwar was Zardari’s henchman.

He recalled that he had also revealed about the MQM and said that Altaf was an agent of RAW and now entire Pakistan knows that Altaf is enemy of Pakistan.

Those who were killed in fake encounters in Karachi by Rao Anwar were innocent sons of Innocent mothers, Mirza said

Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi said due to the sacrifices of military today we are living in peace and doing that we want. He said no any political party can claim credit of fighting terrorism as terrorism was eliminated by our brave rangers.

Shah said the PPP has already been wiped out from Punjab and soon it also be thrown out from Sindh. He alleged that the PPP has broken all records of corruption in Pakistan.
