ISLAMABAD:Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken suo moto notice of non-availability of pure and safe drinking water to the people of Bhagnari area of Bolan in Balochistan.
The notice was taken on a video viral on social media and a program telecast by private TV channel showing that people and animals of the area were drinking contaminated, polluted and unhygienic stagnant water from the same pond outside the Bhagnari area.
Taking notice of the issue, the Chief Justice directed Advocate General, Chief Secretary, Secretary Health and Secretary Public Health Engineering Department, Deputy Commissioner Bolan, Government of Balochistan to appear in the court on 14.12.2018 at Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad.
