CM: (CM Punjab announces separate secretariat in Multan to solve public problems)

ISLAMABAD:The meeting of Punjab Cabinet has concluded at Bahawalpur under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday.

According to reports first ever meeting of Punjab Cabinet held outside Lahore lasted three hours and contained twenty three items on its agenda.

Later talking to news men, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that for the first time in the country’s seventy years of history, cabinet meeting was held at other than provincial capital to assess the genuine problems faced by the masses of South Punjab and for their redressal on the spot.

He said this process will be continued and more meetings will be held at other divisional headquarters of Punjab to assess the problems at grass root level.

With reference to new province in South Punjab, the Chief Minister said PTI government took it as its top priority and formed committees at federal and provincial level for making recommendations for this important task.

He announced the establishment of an independent secretariat in Multan headed by an additional chief secretary and Inspector General for whole South Punjab for devolution of power in Southern region of Province.
