QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said that problem and difficulties confronting to local bodies would be resolved. Despite its limited resources Government desires to make local bodies active by providing them resources. We sincerely wanted to resolve problems of people at grassroots level.
He said this while speaking to representatives of various union councils who called on him here Tuesday and apprised him of problems of local bodies.
Chief Minister said provincial cabinet has accorded approval for honoraria for Chairmen and non development budget of local bodies while recommendations of Chairmen of Union councils would also be sought for release o f honoraria.
He said unfortunately local bodies institutions have been established in the province but problems and irregularities were not removed and these institutions were facing problems. He assured in the light of recommendations of committee release of development funds and other problems would be resolved.
