QUETTA: No project against interest of Balochistan is acceptable. People of the province have first right over resources of the province. With the constitution and law rights of the province would be fully defended.
These views were expressed by Balochistan chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo while speaking with PPL delegation which called on him under the leadership of MD Syed Wamiq Bukhari here Friday.
Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Chief Secretary Aurang Zeb Haq, Secretary Finance and Secretary Energy were also present.
Chief Minister said Balochistan is rich with mineral resources but it lacks behind with other provinces in development and its basic reason is not utilizing resources correctly. He said mineral resources can be used to end poverty from the province and not only Balochistan but entire country would also make progress. He said interests of Balochistan are dear to us most and for securing them we would take every step. He said Government was taking serious measures to remove difficulties being faced by companies working in various parts of the province so that they continue their work without any hurdle and delay and no injustice would be allowed with any one he added.
