CNICs to aliens: All Parties Alliance takes out rally in Larkana

LARKANA: All Parties Alliance Larkana took out a rally from Hoshu Park to Jinnah Bagh roundabout here on Sunday against settlement and issuing of CNICs to aliens in Sindh.

The demonstrators were holding different flags in their hands and chanting slogans for acceptance of their demands. The participants belong to Sindh United Party, PPP-SB, Jeay Sindh Mahaz, Awami Workers Party, JSQM, Quomi Awami Tehreek, STP, Awami Tehreek and Jeay Sindh Tehreek. They included Mahmood Bhutto, Siraj Kalhoro, Maqsood Soomro, Zulfiqar Mirani, Aziz Mirani, Asad Jarwar and Rasul Bux Bhutto.

Addressing their activists, they said that Sindh was being deprived of its basic rights and its original inhabitants were being converted into minority through a calculated conspiracy. They said that recently, outsiders, including Burmese, Bengalese, Biharees and Afghans, were issued CNICs merely on submission of an stamp paper of Rs 50 which they termed injustice.

They said: “This act will increase hate against the rulers for which they warned them to get it stopped forthwith. They also strongly flayed Sindh Minister for Food Nisar Khuhro’s recent statement in favour of the outsiders and non-teaching of Sindhi in private schools of the province. They said: “Those who are living here since centuries are denied their right to live but those who are looting the wealth of the province are allowed to live here freely.”
