KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Eijaz Ahmed Khan on Saturday chaired a meeting regarding expected heat wave spells, their impacts and precautionary measures to avoid casualties here at his office.
The meeting was attained by Additional Commissioner Karachi, all deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, Director Health, KWSB officials, representatives of JPMC and CHK, and officials of rescue services.
Commissioner asked to take measures to avoid casualties during the expected heat waves in Karachi. He said that healthcare facilities must be equipped with necessary gadgets and medicines. There is dire need to publicize the precautionary measures to enable people to adopt necessary measures to protect themselves from heat waves and handle emergency situations.
