Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Sindh leader Haleem Adil Sheikh has expressed concern over acute shortage of drinking water in Gadap and asked the government authorities to take urgent steps to supply water to this locality.
PTI Sindh senior executive vice president talking to media after his visit to Gadap said this area is a Thar of Karachi, where people face severe problems to get drinking water for their children. He said the tanker mafia is selling water on very high rate under the patronage of rulers. He said now even tanker water is not available in this locality.
He asked the government to provide a water supply line to Gadap on urgent basis so that people of this poor and low income locality can also get drinking water facility.
