ISLAMABAD:Chief of the Jamaat Ulema -e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman on Wednesday visited the house of former DG ISI late General (r) Hameed Gul to condole the demise of his wife and mother of Mohammad Abdullah Gul and Umar Gul.
Mohammad Abdullah Gul and Umar Gul welcomed him at their residence. He expressed his heartfelt condolence with the bereaved family.
He said General Hameed Gul’s widow was a great lady and she rendered her services for Islam and the world. He said she was truly an institution in her own place and I salute her on this occasion.
He also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
At this occasion, Pir Naqib-ur-Rehman and some other religious leaders were also present. On the occasion, Abdullah Gul, the son of General Hameed Gul whose eyes were in tears, said: By following in the footsteps of the parents, they will enlarge their relations and will serve their country and nation with the same enthusiasm and readiness as they show their way, General Hameed Gul for peaceful resolution of Kashmir and Afghanistan.
