Coronavirus patient still in hospital

KARACHI: Coronavirus patient, Yaha Jaffari, has not released (discharged) from Aga Khan Hospital and he is still under quarantine.

Media Coordinator to the Health Minister Meeran Yousuf said Yaha Jaffri has not been released by the hospital and he is still under quarantine. She said the patient has been moved to a quarantine facility along with his family. The patient’s family does not have any symptoms as yet but they are still in quarantine. The family will be under observation in quarantine for the next 15 days.

She said advisory has been issued that people in charge of public places should have sanitizers available for use at entry points.

Advisory has been issued to all DHOs, MSs and CSs of hospitals across Sindh to ensure health personnel working in OPDs and ERs should wear gloves and masks and are to immediately isolate patients who have travel history from Iran and China both and symptomatic tests should be conducted and if found positive they are to be quarantined.
