Defence Day marked at Sindh Rangers HQs

KARACHI:Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Thursday celebrated the Defence Day of Pakistan with traditional zeal and a pledge to render all sacrifices to safeguard the country from all threats.

In this regard, an impressive ceremony was held at Rangers Headquarters Sindh in Karachi to mark the day. The ceremony was attended by Senior Rangers officials and personnel.

Director General, Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Major General Mohammad Saeed laid the flowers at Muqam-e-Shuhada and special prayer for prosperity and solidarity of the country were also offered.Later, DG visited Jinnah Mausoleum and laid the floral wreaths at the Mazar-e-Quaid and offered fateha.

DG Rangers also met the families of martyred female pilot Marium Mukhtiar Shaikh and DSP Abdul Majeed Abbas. He paid rich tribute to the martyrs and offered fateha for the departed souls.
