Demo demands arrest of Rao Anwar

KARACHI: A large number of people belonging to Muttahida Qabail Federation Sindh (MQF) on Thursday reached Karachi Press Club  (KPC) to register their protest against suspended SSP Malir Rao Anwar, who murdered a tribal man in a fake encounter in Malir area.

The protest was led by chief of MQF Amanullah Khan Kakar, Naimatullah Khan Khilji and others. The protesters carrying placards, and banners, chanted slogans against Rao Anwar.

Speaking on the occasion, Malik Amanullah said that MQF was formed in 1972 when Pakhtoon people were facing violence in Karachi. He said that now same aggressive attitude is being meted out to the Pakhtoons.

He said if Rao Anwar were not arrested, then they will observe a shutdown strike in Pakistan including Karachi. He said that they have rendered scarifies for country and now they are being treated like criminals by corrupt police officials.

Malik said they are patriotic and proud Pakistanis and they have committed no any crime against the state.

Naimatullah Khan said that Rao Anwar had committed hundreds of fake encounter in Karachi. he was involved in murders of several innocent people like Naqeeb Mehsud.  He hoped that Chief Justice of Pakistan would dole out justice to the voiceless people.
