KARACHI:As many as 125 more dengue fever cases were surfaced throughout the city of Karachi in a week, taking the number of reported cases to 1,121 in the city since 1st January 2018.
According to a weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 137 new dengue fever cases were reported across the Sindh province out of them 125 were from Karachi and eleven from other districts of the province.
In October, a total 205 dengue positive cases were detected from Sindh out of them 197 from Karachi and eight from other districts of the province.
This year so far, a total 1,188 dengue cases emerged across the province out of them 1,121 were reported in Karachi and 67 from rest of province.
Two deaths were also reported from dengue in Karachi city this year so far.
