ISLAMABAD:Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov along with a delegation will pay an official visit to Pakistan tomorrow (Thursday).
According to Foreign Office spokesperson, Uzbek Foreign Minister will have a one to one meeting with the Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi followed by delegation level talks.
He will also call on Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistan and Uzbekistan enjoy a close and cordial relationship founded in mutual trust and understanding and augmented by strong cultural and religious affinities.
The visit of the Uzbek Foreign Minister will contribute to increased mutual cooperation on the bilateral and regional fronts. It would also reinforce Pakistan’s endeavours to deepen its engagement with Uzbekistan and build a strategic partnership with that country.
