Quetta:Despite lapse of 33 days, Neuro Surgeon Doctor Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil has not yet been recovered.
Doctors in all the government run hospitals are on strike. No services are provided at Out-Patients-Departments (OPDs), General Surgery and Radiology Departments due to which patients are confronting severe hardships.
According to patients, despite the closure of OPDs, fees were received on the counter of OPDs, but doctors were not available to provide treatment facilities to the patients. They blamed that doctors were on strike during day time whereas they ran their private clinics in the evening.
They demanded that the government should take notice of the double standard policy of doctors.
On the other side spokesman of Doctors Action Committee Dr. Kaleemullah said that no further action in the safe recovery of Neuro Surgeon Doctor Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil raised questions on the performance of government. He said that strike of doctors would continue till the recovery of abducted doctor.
