Economic survey portrays very grim picture of economy

KARACHI:Media Cell Bilawal House Incharge and PPP MPA Surendar Valasai has warned that economic survey of 2018-19 has portrayed very grim picture of the state of economy in the country under the selected Prime Minister Imran Khan hence the need of reweaving political and economic fabric of the nation attains the highest priority for everyone who believes in the glittering destiny for Pakistan.

Economic survey indicates a paltry 3.3pc growth rate despite the target of 6.3pc for 2018-19 which is less than that of Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. Even Ethiopia, which was a symbol of poverty on the world map not far ago, has nearly triple economic growth rate than Pakistan, he added.

PPP MPA pointed out that the bubbles of ten million jobs and five million homes have already pricked and joined the competition of bluffing in the human history. There seems no end of the hopelessness until this circus of puppets is dismantled and their batteries removed before the economic inferno affects everyone who still remain unaffected, he stressed.

Surendar Valasai said that Imrani economic totkas like chicken-farming and Katta-rearing have become street jokes across the country because entire transition of power in 2018 has turned out to be either an exercise of giving razor into the hands of monkey or a circus of puppets actually meant to ruin the economy through winging the dollar and pumping the inflation, obviously to fill some fatty pockets among rulers.

He said that inflation has gone through the roof and poverty was making inroads into more lower middle class of masses as unprecedented and inbearable increase in the fuel prices will further curtail the economic activities and employment opportunities. This will create a chaos and frustration among mainly the 50% population who are youth and their immediate loved ones.

Surendar Valasai emphasised that the entire nation needs restoration of its hopes gravely fading away currently and the sense of deprivation was digging down into the nation’s spine youth, who are eagerly looking to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for rekindling their dreams and putting the country on the tracks.
