Family Medicine Clinic opens for public on 16 Jan

KARACHI:The inaugural ceremony of second Family Medicine Clinic is taking place on, 16th January, 2019 at Hijrat Colony behind Cane Market. Health Minister of Sindh, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho and Saeed Ghani, Minister of Local Bodies of Sindh will be inaugurating the second Family Medicine Clinic near Abdullah Haroon Park at 3:00 PM.

The Family Medicine Clinic will be provided with OPD facility along with the establishment of a collection center of Dow Lab. There will be free consultancy and free provision of basic medicines from 8:30 AM till 3:00 PM. The Dow University is successfully running a similar Family Medicine Clinic at Chanesar Goth where more than one thousand residents get their treatment and medications every month.

According to the vision of the Vice Chancellor of Dow University of Health Sciences, Prof Dr Saeed Quraishy, medical facilities will also be provided to the public in other different areas of the city with the help of local and elected representatives. It is worth noting that Dow University is also providing the facility of e-clinics to the public.
