Karachi: Dr Farooq Sattar has been elected as the convener of Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) PIB faction by securing highest number of votes in their intra-party election.
According to MQM-P PIB faction intra-party election chief commissioner Khowaja Naveed Advocate, Dr Farooq Sattar was elected as convener. Kamran Tessori remained the runner up. He said intra-party elections were held under the article-18 C of the party constitution.
