Five killed, six injured as bus collides with truck in Karachi

KARACHI: Five people, including a minor boy, were killed and six others injured when a bus collided with a truck on Northern Bypass in the wee hours of Tuesday in the metropolis.

According to rescue sources, a bus, carrying passengers was on its way to somewhere, when it collided with a truck on Northern Bypass on the outskirts of Karachi, killing fiver persons Ameer Shah, Azam, Aziz, Haq Nawaz, and a minor boy. The injured include Amna, 35, Peeran,40, Rizwan,35, Aiza, 12, Shahbaz, 15 and a three-year-old minor boy.

The bodies and injured were brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively.
