GUJRANWALA: Four members of a family were killed when a car plunged into a sewerage nullah in Samanabad area of Gujranwala on Tuesday.
According to details, a speeding car was going to Faisalabad from Wazirabad. On the way near Samanabad the car took a sharp turn making it difficult to control and plunging into the nullah. As a result, four members of a family, include husband, wife and their two children were killed on the spot.
Soon after the accident rescue 1122 reached at the scene and recovered the bodies from water.
The bodies were shifted to nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities
