Governor: (Govt standing with nation in critical situation: Governor)

ISLAMABAD:Punjab Governor Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has said that the government is standing with the nation in the critical situation and it will not be left alone.

Addressing a news conference along with Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Society Abrar-ul-Haq here on Thursday, he said the global pandemic of coronavirus would be defeated with unity following the simple precautionary measures issued by the government.

He said telemedicine center has been established at National Institute of Health and doctors are available for any query on telephone line. He appreciated the role of doctors that they are playing in the front of this war.

He asked the Ulema and Mashaikh to come forward and play their role in creating awareness among the general public in adopting precautionary measures.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman PRCS Abrar-ul-Haq said that the society has planned to construct a hospital with 150 beds in Rawalpindi and constructions will be started within two days. He hoped that the general public will participate in donation process of said hospital.
