Heatwave persists in interior Sindh; Karachi weather normalizes

KARACHI: Heatwave persists in interior Sindh amid load shedding, compelling people to stay indoors. However, Karachi is blessed with good weather with 34 34 oC temperature.

According to met office, the highest temp is 47 oC at DADU , Jacobabad  45 oC , Hyderabad  38 oC , Chhor 41 oC , Larkana: 43 oC , Mithi  39 oC , Moen-joDaro  43 oC , Nawabshah  42 oC , Sukkur : 45 oC , Sukrand  41 oC , and Tando-Jam  38 oC.

On Saturday, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara divisions and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Bannu, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha divisions, Islamabad, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.

During the past 24 hours, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Kohat, D.G khan, Sahiwal, Sarghodha, Quetta divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
