IGP Motorways orders timely facilitation to commuters in distress

Karachi: The Inspector General National Highways and Motorways Police, Mohammad Aamir Zulfiqar, has stressed the need of creating road awareness, maintaining free flow of traffic and timely aid to commuters in distress.

The motorists and commuters should be assisted in every possible way, he said while addressing the officers of South Zone in Karachi Sunday.

The session commenced with prayers the martyrs of Mastung attack followed by salutary tribute.

The Inspector General acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of officers in maintaining standards of quality service to public.

He emphasized on the need to offer better assistance in creating road awareness, maintaining free flow of traffic and timely aid to commuters in distress.

He also pledged his support to officers challenged by resistance to enforcement.

After being appraised of the observations and concerns put forth by several officers in the audience, the inspector General issued immediate instructions for their remedy.
