KARACHI:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Dr Syed Kaleem Imam on Thursday ordered police officials to launch a weekly drive throughout Sindh against gamblers and elements involved in registering fake FIRs from 1st February.
According to Sindh police spokesman, the IGP directed all zonal DIGs of the province to launch the weekly drive against gamblers and those involved in registering fake FIRs under their supervision.
The IGP also called for taking strict action under Pakistan Panel Code’s (PPC) Section 211 and 182 against such elements. The spokesman further stated that the drive would start from 1st February.
