Journal of animal sciences edition launched

HYDERABAD:The University of Sindh has launched second edition of ‘Sindh University research journal of animal sciences’ to provide a forum for scholarly interaction of the researchers in the disciplines of flora and fauna as well as the branch of biology studying animals.

The vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat is chief editor of the journal wherein as many as seven significant research articles have been included of the authors.

SU vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat told that the journal sought to publish quality research on the contemporary questions in the area of animal sciences and zoology. “It aims to mainstream the explorations of the scholars across the world”, he added.

He said the articles were examined and scrutinized as per standard of Higher Education Commission (HEC) and special measures were taken to check plagiarism.

Dr Burfat added the ‘University of Sindh Journal of Animal Sciences’ was a rigorous peer-reviewed journal bringing diverse research communities together with a common goal of deepening understanding of diverse aspects of study of zoology.

Earlier, the university had published its first journal in which the research scholars from the reputed national and international universities had contributed their research articles.
