KARACHI:Maqsood Ismail, President Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has appreciated the efforts of outgoing Corp Commander of Balochistan, Lt. General Asim Saleem Bajwa to maintain peaceful environment in the province of Balochistan and to ensure its economic development so as to bring it at par with other provinces.
In a press release issued here Thursday, he said that the efforts and services of Gen. Bajwa during his tenure in Balochistan would always be remembered which has resulted in creation of the awareness amongst the people of this region regarding the importance of education, unity and faithfulness.
He further said that his cooperation with LCCI and Industry had brought positive results in the industrial development in Lasbela district by way of improvement of infrastructural facilities and maintenance of conducive environment for which the business community of this region is very thankful to him.
Ismail also welcomed his successor Lt. General Wasim Ashraf on his new assignment as Corp Commander, Balochistan and assured that the LCCI would keep the same spirit of coordination with southern command aimed at the economic development of Balochistan.
