Minorities are not safe: Ghinwa

LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP-SB) Chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto said on Sunday that minorities are not safe here and due to non-implementation of the law, people are looking for justice.

“Due to corruption of the rulers, people are suffering very badly. The rulers are themselves enemies of the country who are dividing people on the basis of religion,” she said while addressing the Sindh Council meeting of her party at Al-Murtaza House here today. The PPP-SB chairperson said that the state would never eliminate corruption here for which we required such organisations which could wipe out corruption. She said justice and rights could only be obtained through socialism.

Meanwhile, provincial president Ali Ahmed Palipoto presided over the Sindh Council meeting in which they decided to hold a protest demonstration and stage sit-ins throughout Sindh on February 23 against registration of case against party’s divisional president Inayat Umrani and others.
