Mukhtiarkar, Tapedar awarded seven-year imprisonment by ATC

LARKANA: Anti-Corruption Court (ATC) awarded seven-year imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 each to Mukhtiarkar Larkana Niaz Ahmed Siyal and Tapedar Sher Mohammad Siyal here on Friday.

Advocate Aijaz Ahmed Bhatti, a resident of Naundero, had registered an FIR in 2016 in Anti Corruption Establishment, Larkana, in which he had alleged that both revenue officials were involved in unlawfully mutating revenue record of his mother’s two houses located in Naundero in the name of Urs Supro and his son Mushtaque Supro. After hearing the case, the court announced the verdict today.

Siyal was posted at that time as Mukhtiarkar Ratodero and Sher Mohammad Siyal as Tapedar Naundero and both were arrested and shifted to jail. Both are politically very influential and have remained posted since years without interruption. Urs Supro and Mushtaque Supro are already under arrest.
