Murad demands production of Faryal to assembly

KARACHI:Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has lamented that the elected government of Punjab has refused to honour the production orders of PPP leader MPA Faryal Talpur.

Addressing a press conference along with other PPP leaders at CM House, he said that when Faryal Talpur was in NAB custody she would brought be here in the assembly to attend the session but ever since she has been sent in jail custody, under the administration of government of Punjab, her production order have been dishonored.

Quoting the example of MNA Khuwaja Saad Rafiq, the chief minister said that he was in jail but when the speaker was issuing his production order he was being produced in the national assembly. He said being elected member of provincial assembly Faryal is entitled to represent his constituents in the assembly house.

To a question, the chief minister said that news about the formation of forward block in Sindh assembly were rumors to create uncertainty in the province. He said elected representatives of PPP and party workers are united under the leadership of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Zaradri.

The chief minister said that the provincial assembly session has been summoned on September 13, and the speaker has issued her production orders of Faryal Talpur. He demanded the Punjab Government to allow her production in the Sindh assembly.
