Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that Islam was the religion of peace and love but its enemies all over the world besides the media totally ignorant about Islamic teachings was presenting Islam as religion of hate and terrorism.
Addressing the Directors of the Ghazali Education Trust here, he said that Islam was the religion of nature and even today, it was spreading most speedily in the world.
He said that the Islamic society could play a revolutionary role in facing the dangers to the humanity by equipping the Islam loving women with knowledge, cultural values and the family with the Islamic teachings.
Liaqat Baloch appreciated the services of the Ghazali Trust in bringing the minor children working in workshops and tea stalls towards schools.
The JI Secretary General also met a delegation from the Azad Kashmir JI. At the meeting, he said that the Kashmiris freedom struggle was at peak despite the brutalities of the Indian troops and the large scale arrests of the Kashmiri youth and Kashmiri leaders. He was confident that the days of Indian hold in Kashmir were numbered.
