LARKANA:Larkana police here Friday claimed to arrest a notorious criminal.
SSP Masood Bangash while addressing a news conference at his office Friday claimed that Inspector Nisar Ahmed Brohi, SHO Waris Dino Machi police station has arrested notorious bandit Abdul Qayoom Jakhrani, son of Allah Dino during a brief encounter and weapons recovered from his possession.
He said the criminals were standing with the intention to commit crime near Bhatti Laro when they were challenged.
Bangash said Jakhrani is carrying head money of Rs five Lakh and is a resident of Miandad Jakhrani village of Garhi Yasin Taluka. One KK, 145 bullets, two rockets and two magazines were recovered from his possession.
He said the arrested dacoit is involved in various heinous crimes and wanted by police in more than 30 cases of murder, terrorist acts, robberies, encounter with police, etc.
