Opinion Poll: (51% Pakistanis believe Islamabad is the cleanest city of Pakistan: Poll)

ISLAMABAD:According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, at 51%, majority of Pakistanis believe Islamabad is the cleanest city of Pakistan, followed by Lahore at 21%.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “In your opinion, which city of Pakistan is the cleanest?”

In response to this question, 51% said Islamabad, 21% said Lahore, 5% said Karachi, 3% said Rawalpindi, 3% said Faisalabad, 2% said Sukkur, 2% said Peshawar, 1% each referred to Multan and Bahawalpur, 9% to all others, while 2% did not know or did not wish to respond.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1142 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during 24 January – 28 January, 2019.

The error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 percent at the 95% confidence level.
