ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 58% Pakistanis believe that people who see only problems and nothing good in Pakistan, should be exiled from Pakistan.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “To what extent do you agree with the following statement: [Some people can only see problems in Pakistan. Such people should be exiled from the country?]”

In response to this question, 58% agreed with the statement, while 28% disagreed. 14% did not know or did not wish to respond.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1506 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, June 11 – June 18, 2018. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
