LAHORE: Continuing the trend and adding milestone, successful mega launch of 14th edition of Pharma & Health Asia International Exhibition & Conferences in Lahore took place from 10-12 April, 2018 at Lahore Expo Centre.
The event was organized jointly by Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) and Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. and is the biggest health industry event of Pakistan. More than 30,000 visitors were gathered during three days at this international event. Hundreds of exhibitors from different countries including China, India, UAE, USA, Germany, Turkey, Iran and Pakistan showcased the latest technology/products.
The success of event was witnessed by Malik Mohammad Rafique Rajwana, Governor of Punjab; Khawaja Imran Nazir, Minister for Primary & Secondary Health Department followed by Dr. Sheikh Akhtar Hussain, CEO DRAP; Khawaja Shazeb Akram, Chairman – PPMA and other senior officials of PPMA.
International Pharma Convention set the tone at the start of the event with deliberations by top notch Pharma companies Top management and the Regulatory Authorities on the challenges faced by the industry. Other conferences organized included the subjects of Pathology, Neurosurgery, Safe Blood Transfusion, Maternal Health and Good Sterilization Practices by renowned local & international doctors and trainers.
The event also enjoyed the strong support and participation of leading medical institutes of Pakistan such as Jinnah Hospital Lahore, Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), University of Lahore (UOL), University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Pakistan Kidney & Liver Institute (PKLI) & Punjab Healthcare Commission.
