Lahore:Clashes erupted between workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and police when PML-N Vice President and prominent opposition leader of Pakistan Mariam Nawaz was presented before a local court here Friday.
A large number of PML-N activists gathered before an accountability court, where National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officers presented Mariam Nawaz and Yusuf Abbas in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
However, clashes erupted when the PML-N activists insisted to enter the court premises. Police applied baton charge and they pelted the police with stones. A cop was injured during the clashes.
