KARACHI: Karachi police on Thursday claimed to have arrested 10 suspects, including nine street criminals, from different parts of the metropolis in the hours of Thursday.
According to the police source, during crackdown on street criminals police carried out search operations in Landhi, Azizabad, Khuwaja Ajmer Nagri, Sirsyed, and Gulberg areas and apprehended nine street criminals, Arshad, Shamshad, Manzoor Ahmed, Akbar Ali, Amir, Mohammad Ejaz, Javaid, Mohammad Sharif and Manzoor.
The police also claimed to have recovered seven TT pistols with bullets, snatched laptop, 15 mobile phones, 7000 cash, one motorbike and hashish from their possession.
Meanwhile, Mubina town police arrested a Gutka seller, Arif, son of Mohammad Habib, and recovered 11 bag of Gutka from his possession.
The police have registered FIRs against detainees and started further investigation.
