KARACHI:Karachi police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a man in connection with the suspected honour killing of his daughter and a man in Surjani Town on 22 February 2019.
According to SSP West Shaukat Ali Khattian, during investigation, the girl’s father, Wajed, had confessed to murder of the couple with the help of his four friends. He said that the girl’s father had given a statement, admitting that he murdered the couple on the orders of the jirga.
Police recovered pistol used in the incident from the arrested accused. The bodies of Naseeb Zar Khan and Ayesha Bibi were found in Surjani Town near the Hub Dam on February 22.
