PTI candidate sees rigging in his PS-10 seat

LARKANA:PakistanTehreekInsaf (PTI) candidate for PS-10, AmeerBakhsh Bhutto, said on Friday that election rigging record of 2013 had been broken in his constituency.

“According to media reports, I obtained over 37,000 votes against my rival candidate FaryalTalpur who secured over 53,000 votes which is impossible on a provincial seat. Even national assembly seats’ candidates are not getting such number of votes which means it is the outcome of rigging,” Bhutto said in a statement today.

He said that many camps of Zardari party were seen deserted on polling day while PTI camps were filled with workers and supporters. “How could FaryalTalpurobtained over 53000 votes.”

He alleged that during counting, his polling agents were subjected to torture and sent out. Bhutto said presiding officers of over 50 polling stations either did not give form 45 with their signature, stamp or thump impression or result was given on plain paper. Bhutto claimed that even now, he had not received result of 15 polling stations. He said soon he would announce his reaction after consulting his lawyers. He said: “I will not allow Zardari Party to steal mandate of the people second time”.
