PTI to hold demo in Quetta on Kashmir day

QUETTA:Following the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Balochistan chapter will stage a demonstration outside Quetta Press Club on Wednesday on the occasion of “Kashmir Solidarity Day” to show solidarity with the people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOK).

All office bearers and workers of party have been asked to ensure their presence.

Moreover, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Muhammad Qasim Khan Suri in a message on the occasion of “Kashmir Solidarity Day” said that Pakistan has been celebrating ‘February 5’ as Kashmir Day since 1949, when United Nations passed resolutions, with the intention to create awareness amongst the international community about the atrocities being committed by Indian occupation forces in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said today on February 5, Prime Minister Imran Khan will deliver a speech to legislative assembly of Kashmir and will give message to the international community for last 184 days, 8 million Kashmiri Muslims have been confined in their homes under curfew.

He said that women were being molested, children were not able to go schools and communication system had completely been disturbed. He said that the people of Pakistan were standing shoulder to shoulder with Kashmiri brethren.
