Talking to media, they said that all provincial government department employees were paid monthly salaries through online system on 1st of every month but they had constantly been ignored and discriminated which was open and daring violation of basic human rights.

They said that local bodies employees maintained cleanliness in each and every town and city by lifting heaps of garbage from roads and streets, but they were continuously treated as second class citizens when they were raising the issue of payment of their monthly salaries through online system.

They said Sindh government had made several commitments to pay their salaries through the latest digital system, but it had not yet implemented it. They said: “Those who were recruited in 2012 are discharging their duties efficiently and regularly since past seven years and according to apex court order, those employees could not be termed bogus or fake who had been serving since four years because they had been serving the masses since over seven years, so they could not be retrenched.”

They further said that 320 LG employees had been removed from service without any cogent reason by Ghotki CMO Nadir Shah Amroti which was illegal and violation of apex court order. They demanded online monthly salaries without loss of further time through relevant district treasuries to eradicate corruption for which bill should be passed from the provincial assembly while regularization of all the employees of 2012 and reinstatement of removed Ghotki employees be also ensured.
