KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Thursday claimed to have arrested seven criminals, including two diesel smugglers, from different areas of the metropolis.
According to a Rangers’ spokesman, the paramilitary forces carried out a targeted raid in Bhains Colony and seized 10,000 liters of Iranian smuggled diesel from an oil-tanker. They also arrested two smugglers, Mohammad Adil and Aijaz.
During search operation in New Karachi Industrial area police and rangers apprehended four street criminals.
Separately, a ranger’s team arrested a criminal, Ashraf alias Lada from Gulshan-e-Maymar area.
The ranger also recovered weapons, drugs, snatched mobile phones and contrabands from their possession.
